Buddha's Birth Day Festival 09

Every year when Buddha’s Birthday is approaching, a great ceremony will be held to celebrate this auspicious moment. The event is organised by Fo Guang Shan Temple and the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) WA. This has become an annual event in the City of Perth Calendar and is growing each year from 15,000 people to over 30,000 people who gathered in the  Supreme Court Gardens to participate Buddha's Birthday and Multicutural programs and Food Fair.

With greater public interest and the increasing support of members, devotees and Perth City Council , the festival has been held as a two-day event around mid April each year.
