Buddha Birthday Festival 2010 佛誕節佛光山西澳道場與國際光會西澳協會合辦的佛誕慶典大會於4月10日至11日一連兩天在Supreme Court Gardens舉行,有五萬人次來參與此盛會。10日晚上6時在由柏斯市市長Lisa Scaffidi揭開序幕,柏斯市市長感謝佛光山西澳道場及西澳協會舉辦浴佛慶典,讓多元文化能融合在一起,政府單位也很高興能支持此富有意義的慶典。

Buddha's Birth Day Festival 09Every year when Buddha’s Birthday is approaching, a great ceremony will be held to celebrate this auspicious moment. The event is organised by Fo Guang Shan Temple and the Buddha’s Light International Association (BLIA) WA. This has become an annual event in the City of Perth Calendar and is growing each year from 15,000 people to over 30,000 people who gathered in the Supreme Court Gardens to participate Buddha's Birthday and Multicutural programs and Food Fair. With greater public interest and the increasing support of members, devotees and Perth City Council , the festival has been held as a two-day event around mid April each year.

Morning Tea with the Premier - Sunday, 30.8.09MP of Mt Lawley Mr Michael Sutherland invited President Natasha Tang of BLIAWA for the Morning Tea with Premier Colin Barnett to celebrate the First Anniversary for Liberal Party in government. Ms Tang presented the "50th Anniversary Photobiography of Master Hsing Yun to the Premier on behalf of Abbess Yi Lai. BLIAWA -- Tree Planting Day19 / 07 / 09 , BLIAWA joined City of Bayswater in tree planting this morning for the National Tree Day , Rev Miao Yung , BLIAWA president Natasha Tang led the group of 60 members and planted around 1000 tree seedlings in Morley .

FO GUANG SHAN TEMPLE OpenDayOpen Day is organised around January each year to allow the general public the opportunity to tour the FGS Temple Perth. The organiser showcase the Buddhist and Chinese Culture to the public. The program includes: Introduction to Buddhism's philosophy (Q&A), Meditation and Taichi demonstration, Vegetarian Cooking, art and craft, including Chinese calligraphy.
